Alstom Norway is looking for a VIE to join our team in Oslo.
In Norway, Alstom is engaged in a major signaling project, which will carry out the renewal of the Norway train fleet (more than 400 trains) with the ERTMS technology with various classes of trains (passenger trains, freight trains, works trains).
The project is planned in two phases. During the first phase (2019-2020), the project is setting up in Norway and the onboard ERTMS will be installed in 3 trains for testing and validation of the Norway solution. The second phase called rollout (2021-2026) will consist in the installation of the onboard ERTMS in the Norwegian trains (> 400).
To support the project we are seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to organize the supplier and subcontractors quality assurance in the frame of the Signalling Onboard project as well as managing locally the rework of defective parts.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Define the inspections to be done in the warehouse
- Perform inspection and train warehouse personal when applicable
•Control assembled parts
- Support the pre-assembly process and the Final Quality Control of the assembly of the mechanical parts
•Analyze issue raised from installation site (visual alert, punch list)
•NCRs (Non Conformity Reports)
- Prepare NCR on articles with issues
- Prepare NCR on subcontractors workmanship issues
- Control stock in case of NCR
- Manage follow-up on NCR with suppliers, subcontractors and internally
- Prepare KPIs on NCRs
- Trace CONQ (Cost of Non Quality) on NCRs
•Organize rework of defective / not conform part and maintain workshop inventory
•Make Quality movements in ERP system
•Perform FAI at supplier facilities
•Managing incoming inspections, controls of assembled parts and NCRs
•Structuring the Quality Assurance process according ALSTOM rules and tools
•Organize local workshop activities for rework of defective parts
•Activity execution according to schedule agreed with the Project Quality Manager & Supply chain manager
Knowledge, skills and education:
•Bachelor / Master Degree or relevant experience in product controls
•Experienced from a Project environment
•Good English speaking and writing
•Basic Knowledge of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
•Experience with SAP within complex organization
•Multicultural Team worker
•Good social and communication skills
•Commit to deadlines
•Good competences with Office Package
