Our Clean Mobility Europe Division is looking for a VIE Manufacturing Engineer (m/f) for its Plant in Braganca - Portugal.
The main missions of the role are :
Participate in launch / modification of products and processes in order to propose improvements in its function and have an adequate knowledge of it to enable it to properly support the production after the SOP;
Monitor and react to defined indicators associated with processes and equipment. Support its correction /improvement;
Support review of Control Plans;
Participate in the first test tool / equipment in the factory / supplier, to identify all risks;
Participate in FMEA workshop to identify the risks of the process / equipment to define corrective actions;
Participate in the analysis of production results and quality activities whenever required and contribut to process improvements / equipment;
Support production teams in emergencies associated with the process / equipment
Participate and support continuous improvement teams as: 5S, SMED, Hoshin, etc ...;
Identify and suggest a list of consumable parts for: equipment, tools and process materials to keep in storage.
Keep this list updated equipment;
Create and maintain updated work instructions for preventive maintenance / processes of all manufacturing equipment and tools, based on: legal and environmental requirements, internal standards, vendor information and internal knowledge;
Perform the actions of preventive maintenance according to established plans and improve efficiency, improve equipment availability and cost of maintenance;
Identify and propose tasks that can be transferred to production in order to improve their autonomy in the workplace;
Train production operators in the new processes / changes;
Repair the equipment and tools in order to restore normal operation and safety and environmental conditions;
Ensuring the safety standards and the environment whenever a change in equipment and tools. These changes must be validated by the department: HSE, Production and Production Engineering;
Support the external teams under repairs, changes to the process, etc ...;
Participate and lead the process of refining the tools;
Ensure the achievement of objectives relating to capacity, quality and cost of the process;
Track the first production test, providing the PPTL / Team the necessary support, whether in relation to training or in technical terms, so that the Gap Leader make the first pieces;
Participate in program meetings and contribute to convergence of actions in order to achieve the objectives;
Develop the supporting documentation, such as process parameters table (WPS, GPS, ...), spare parts of process tools, critical points of the tools, resources, ...;
Identify any opportunity for improvement, implement and follow its impact on production and results.
Work together with experts, process engineers and development centers and / or in other plants in order to share experiences and contribute to the development process.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering).
Professional experience in industrial maintenance and / or welding processes and processing tubes and plates Hardware in the perspective of the user
Fluent in English
