Our Emissions Control Technologies Division is looking for a V.I.E Program Development / Manufacturing Leader for its Columbus (USA).
The Program Development/Manufacturing Lead supports the Product Development Team in creating generic products and processes for use in the Commercial Vehicles global market to drive standardization between the different global regions within Faurecia Clean Mobility Division.
The main missions of the role are to:
Ensure robustness of the exhaust system for vehicle durability, heat management, emissions control, safety, system installation, shipping, manufacturing feasibility, etc.
Generate and maintain the Engineering Bill of Materials, Design failure mode and effects analysis , Process failure mode and effects analysis and Design validation plan.
Assist with customer engineering interface (prototypes, design, testing)
Support the PDL/PML with being the single point of Faurecia technical communication.
Support Generic Gate Reviews and Engineering Functional Milestones.
Generation of documentation to support the Engineering Essentials Application.
Other missions may include:
Assist with scheduling emission testing
Track incoming Customer prototype requests & orders
Provide a prototype and testing forecast for planning purposes
Collect data for testing and analysis needs from engineers
Submit and evaluate Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) requests
Assist with line layouts, process flow, equipment design workshops
Compile prototype BOMs (Bill of Material)
Create request for materials lab analysis and follow-up
Create request for print changes and follow-up
Arrange scheduling of parts for testing
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master’s Degree in Engineering.
Professional (automotive) experience, including diesel emissions experience, preferably commercial vehicle experience.
General automotive knowledge and Tier I or Original Equipment Manufacturer engineering experience.
The ability to facilitate problem solving in a cross functional environment.
Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem solving skills.
Strong teamwork sense and leadership skills.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Minimum language skills: English.
