Established in 28 locations worldwide with around 4.000 employees, Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) provides a full range of securities services that are adapted to the latest financial markets and regulatory trend. SGSS Frankfurt offers settlement, custody and trustee services to German and International Funds and Institutional clients.
The very ambitious roadmap of SGSS requires further developments on the existing systems, tools and processes and the project management teams play a crucial role in the successful implementation in projects such as Business Process Management, Lean Management as well as on IT- and regulatory driven topics.
As VIE (m/f) you will support the Client Service team in the process optimization and the corresponding documentation.
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
You will participate in internal projects by defining and analyzing project scope & goals as well as by structuring and dividing work packages.
You will track milestones and deliverable, follow-up on project plan and scope but also prepare and conduct decision process proposals for the team leader.
You will assist Client Service managers in the handling of client and client change requests.
You will create monthly KPI, management and service management reports.
You will prepare client meetings and client presentations as well as coordinate client mailings and maintain client contract and data in the CRM tool.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Frankfurt am Main is to begin as January, 1st 2018 but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Project Management
Good knowledge about Project Management as well as practical experience in Project Management is desirable
Previous experience, e.g. gained through internships in a financial institution, or prior experience in the area of Securities Services is advantageous
Good knowledge of communications and marketing processes/functions
Good organizational, project management and analytical skills
High Client orientation
Understanding of / interest for the regulatory environment in the banking industry
MS Office proficiency
Fluency in German and English (written and orally), intermediate in French would be a plus
You will receive deeper insight and knowledge in Security Services and a broad overview of the German Securities Services landscape
You will get deep insight in the handling of client requests, client projects as well as complaint management.
You will gain considerable insight in the collaboration with different levels of hierarchy within the organization (Germany and Paris) and in a matrix organization
You will learn to use different systems such as CRM tools and KYC tools
You will improve your communication and language skills
