1/ Define and manage the parameters of supply and stock management to achieve target service level according to the MPS while reducing the unhealthy stock
2/Ensure the quality and consistency of key data: Lead Time, Quantity, Stocking policy and between operational work and MPS decisions and react accordingly
3/Insure the availability of product managing the replenishment backlog and the backorder portfolio, the shortage and the continuous needs/resources balance (MRP, .. ) for raw material, components, sub-assemblies and finished products
4/Manage and respond to the customer needs coming from the CCC’s through the Customer Claim Management Process including measurement of the ISSR and ESSR (External Supplier Service Rate) and driving action plans
Profile and Competences :
The VIE is an international programme for young professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Union nationals.
Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent in procurement or supply chain.
Work experience needed: Minimum of 1 year of experience in supplier management and problem solving and in manufacturing planning controlled by replenishments strategies and material resource planning.
Requested languages: Fluent English
Personal abilities or skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, preference in SAP skills and quickly adapting to IT programs.
Moreover, the applicant must have ability to :
- Understand and anticipate customer needs, applications and values.
- Identify issues/risks, analyze and understand underlying causes, and devise appropriate action plans.
- Understand and use the Need/Resource Balance and Replenishment systems in order to manage the inventory.
- Set parameters for materials procurement and shopfloor scheduling to optimize manufacturing flow and capacity to meet customer demand.
- Identify and optimize all physical flows from suppliers to Schneider Electric production facilities to distribution centers and customers.
