We take pride in meeting and exceeding our customers’ needs at Crown Holdings. Our Bevcan Sector is a world leader in the supply of beverage packaging to some of the biggest FMCG brands.
We are now looking to recruit a VIE as Marketing Support, focussed on market analysis and NPD activities, whilst supporting communications activity, based at our Crown Technology facility in Wantage (UK). This is an entry level in marketing, with a potential development to a commercial role.
As a supporting team member to the Marketing and Commercial team in Europe and the Middle East, you prepare market studies and reports using various market research data sources (GlobalData/Plato, Euromonitor and MPE ...) and support on the update and maintenance of the MID (Marketing Intelligence Database).
You are responsible for supporting our New Product and Process development activities, the preparation and execution of trade fairs, presenting to our customers as well as delivering MarComm plans .
You are also responsible for maintaining/updating the customer filling locations data, the competitive maps and the retail price review.
You prepare PowerPoint presentations for the Top Management based in Switzerland or the Commercial team and customers as appropriate.
You will also contribute to formatting, designing, maintaining and publishing/sharing market, trends information on SharePoint.
You are a graduate in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing Communications, Marketing Data or Business Data Intelligence.
You have ideally a proven experience in internships as Business Analyst, or Sales and Product Development in a B to B company.
An internship in Communications, public relations, media experience would be beneficial.
You are at ease with numbers and you particularly like to analyse, understand and explain market data and trends in a comprehensive way.
You enjoy putting your creative skills into presentations and demonstrating your excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation.
You have strong attention to detail; good communication (both oral and written), interpersonal and organisational skills and you have a flexible approach to changes in team priorities.
You are a real team player, and you enjoy living in a fast moving and demanding environment. Proficient in MS Office (notably PowerPoint and Excel), you have sound Information Systems skills - including social media experience.
You speak fluent English - Other languages are an advantage.
You are available from December 2017 or January 2018 – a face to face interview will take place in Paris or Wantage in November 2017.
