In Germany Société Générale Securities Services has about 250 employees in Munich and Frankfurt. The position is located at Société Générale Securities Services GmbH in Munich. The team consists of 2 team-members and the VIE will be subordinated to the deputy head of Compliance.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Handling of daily business requests;
KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure;
Control execution & Implementation of various new controls coming from the headquarters;
Analysis of Sanctions & Embargoes alerts;
Analysis & evaluation of employee trading;
Draft and update of local compliance policies and procedures;
Performance of local and global reporting ;
Accompanying internal and external audit missions;
Preparation of Compliance Risk Assessment;
Preparation of performance of Compliance trainings;
Participation in regulatory & compliance projects ;
Close collaboration with deputy compliance head;
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Munich is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Graduate from Engineering school or University, with a master degree in Law, Business Administration or Business Economics. You ideally have a previous experience in compliance.
You are fluent in German and English and you have an intermediate Level of French
You are proficient with Microsoft Office.

As you will work in the legal department and especially on the compliance topics you will learn about the legal dimension and the regulatory requirements in a German Company.
