At Société Générale, you will be joining the Group's periodic controls Department. The Inspection and Audit Division (DCPE) main responsibility is to provide an objective, thorough and impartial evaluation of transaction and procedural compliance, the level of risk effectively incurred, as well as the effectiveness and relevance of the permanent control system in place.
You will join BRD-SG : the second largest universal bank from Romania from the size of assets point of view, one of the biggest financers of SMEs ad, also, one of the most important players on the corporate banking market from Romania.
Audit Department of BRD perform audit activities for BRD-SG being also involved in audit missions within the local subsidiaries (ALD, BRD Pension Funds, BRD Assurance, BRD Assets Management etc.) and foreign SG entities from Black Sea region (10 countries). The good results of the audit activity were sustained by the young, dynamic and professional team accompanied by the DCPE central support and strong cooperation and synergy among the audit teams from the region.
Your main task will be to identify IT related risks and to provide recommendations in order to mitigate them to an acceptable level.
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
Understand and analyse an IS department, an application, a project in term of risks;
Gather required and relevant data for the mission, in compliance with confidentiality and ethic rules;
Perform controls and assess the risks;
Define areas of improvement and formulate recommendations;
Manage the relationship with the audited entities with diplomacy while remaining independent;
Follow up the implementation of audit recommendations;
Report to management.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Bucarest is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Computer Science or IT.
You have a first experience in an Audit or a Consulting firm, in internal audit in the banking industry, in a software and computing services company, or in a significant IT Department.
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
