Faurecia Clean Mobility is looking for a Mixing Specialist VIE to be based at its plant in Columbus (USA).

The main missions of the role are:
To support the development of Commercial Vehicle Emissions (CVE) product development through requesting Finite Element Analysis (FEA)/Computational Fluid dynamics (CFD)/Noise Vibration & Harshness/ (NVH), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) deposit simulations and test

To develop expertise and know how in SCR product

To develop expertise and know how on testing methods for back pressure, NH3 and deposit tests

To develop expertise and know how on durability tests

To support methodology development for CVE after treatment products

The position is responsible for the support of SCR product developments in Innovation or application using knowledge developed personally or under guidance from an expert.
He/she is responsible for working within a product development team to deliver robust mixing function within the project timescales:

Specific responsibilities are:

Work under guidance of SCR Mixing Expert

Coordinate work in engine test cells, including writing test requests, working with the testing team to help schedule tests, providing day to day instruction to test operators, and collecting data during testing

Validate test set up, and ensuring quality test results

Order prototypes for test

Manage availability of consumable parts (gaskets,…)

Coordinate and request simulation analysis work to guide the design

Process and interpret test or analysis data to guide after treatment component design (primarily SCR mixing devices )

Process and interpret test or analysis data to be used to guide after treatment component design (primarily SCR mixing devices) to support method development activities

Provide design recommendations to the program team to enable the correct performance ( typically deposit performance Mixing performance and backpressure) to be delivered

Generate reports / presentations compiling test or analysis results

Develop and document standard working practices

Interface and work closely with mixing specialists in our global R & D teams to share knowledge.
The length of the VIE is 18 months.
