Our PC&L is looking for a Material Planer in Rayong Plant.
The role of the Material Planner within a plant is to fullfil the customer requirements by levelling the activities of the production floor.
The main missions of the role are to:
Analyse, understand and anticipate the customer needs, ensuring that they are reflected in production activities.
Analyse customer Misdeliveries Per Million (MPM) in order to propose improvement action plans: define and optimise data gathering and exchange and ensure data integrity in systems.
Follow up the achievement of the customer delivery program by managing alerts and following up with the transportation and the delivery of pieces.
Manage the pool and safety stocks levels.
Check that the sequencer and procurements are consistent with the PDP.
Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.
Build up the Procurement Program by splitting up and leveling pieces procurement
Follow up the Procurement Program realization : Manage alert systems, Follow up the unloading, the receipt, and the transportation of pieces
Follow up the delivery performance of suppliers and logistics service providers (supplier Misdeliveries Per Million)
With Purchasing, ensure the logistics conventions which set up procurement conditions with suppliers
Material Planners may also be responsible for some Engineering Changes responsibilities:
Manage application dates of product modifications according to engineering change procedures
Keep up special relationships with program teams.
Define and assume the logistics conditions necessary for the launch of new programs.
Ensure that changes are taken into account in production scheduling and material planning
Manage phase out files: reduce to the minimum the obsolete stocks and set up the file in a way to obtain their reimbursement by the customer.
Take the leadership to uphold the commitment to CoE, CoM and other internal compliance policy in the responsible team and relevant business partners to ensure that it is distributed to all employees and that each employee adheres to it.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master's degree in supply chain maanagement
2 years in planner role in an industrial envrionment ; APICS preferred
2 years experience with materials management systems
Intermediate computer skills including Word and Excel; Advanced preferred
