Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group is looking for a Sales Engineer m/f for its site in Sao Joao Da Madeira, PR.



Please note that applications submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking teams in our plants worldwide. Only applications submitted in English will be considered.



The main missions of the role are:



Prices (serial)
Ensure the commercial file transmitted by the program sales team is complete and coherent with the transfer prices registered in our systems and obtain PSA sales breakdown at SOP
Build with the CBU (Customer Business Unit) the budget volumes and the diversity of each vehicle program
Calculate the budget volumes by version for each product lin
Calculate the sales gains or losses to be recorded in the sales dashboard
Create the modification tracking table (costing tracking table) for each new veh program coming into serial production; follow and update the table : Price impact vs cost/ SUC (Start Up Cost)/ D&D (Design & Development)/ OS (Outillage Specifique)/ Obsolete stocks if any; check Payment from customer
Communicate the costing with the correct level of VCM (Variable Cost Margin) to respect current profitability (“red price for the CBU”) and propose, if possible, way of improving the margin
Update the transfer price
Obtain from the CBU price offer sent to PSA and a fair proposal of gain sharing or obtain from the C&T (Comfort & Trim) plants and CBU the price reductions to be applied on the mandated fabrics (negociation between PSA and the fabric supplier)
Update price offer : costing impacts, mandated price reductions, LTA (Long Term Agreement)
Communicate the new prices to the C&T plants and to the customer controlling for validation
Check if the PO (Purchase Order) received is correct
Build the Spare part offer for the internal customer team
Analyse the profitability of each product line by plant and set up action plan to improve it

Tooling, D&D payments, prototypes and special deliveries


In case of PPA (Piece Price Amortization), follows-up the production volumes versus original commitment with customer

Customer relationship

Develop the relationship with his direct counterparts at the customer (internal serial life team and plants), and with the assigned contacts by the sales and controlling network



The lenght of the VIE is 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have/be :

Master's Degree from a Business or Engineering school


1st experience in sales


Taste for industrial and technical products


Very good skill with MS Office tools : Excel, PPT and Access


Good personal organization, rigorous and autonomous


Analytical mind


Ability to speak easily


Team player


International mind set


Good quality of adaptation


English required (spoken and written)
