MONTHLY REMUNERATION: 2392€ (Non-contractual allowance laid down by decree and order, whose amount may vary in particular depending on the changes to the reference scale, the location of the position and the cases for deductions set out in the texts)

For each major event at Cape Mentelle and working with the Events Agency, the VIE Event Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating winery events and providing hospitality support as required by the Estate Director.support the Estate Director in coordinating the distribution of wine samples and new releases Media kits.
Strong social media skills are essential.

The Cape Mentelle Events Coordinator plays a vital in being the pivotal point of liaison and organiser of events and VIP visits to the winery. The role takes responsibility across all aspects of :
1. on and off site Cape Mentelle events facilitated by the winery
2. VIP visits to the winery and
3. the distribution/coordination of media samples globally

On and Off Site Events
Cape Mentelle hosts two regular events annually - the first being a three day programme around the ‘Cape Mentelle International Cabernet Tasting’ in November followed by the ‘Movies at Cape Mentelle’ season, which typically runs between December – April every year and attracts 12-14K visitors through the gates across approximately 90 nights.

The Cape Mentelle Events Coordinator will arrange all aspects of these events including;
• detailed programme, invitations and itinerary writing with communication and briefing to all stakeholders and participants
• bookings and preparation for accommodation, transport, catering, event collateral, gifts and equipment
• work with chefs and caterers in order to design appropriate menus within budget perimeters
• management of budgets, invoices, reconciliation and reporting

VIP visits to the winery
Working closely with the Estate Director, Cellar Door and Technical Teams (Winery and Vineyard), you will be in charge of the coordination of all trade, media and VIP requests and visits to Cape Mentelle:
• design specific and bespoke itineraries adjusted to visitor profiles (in terms of brand experience, wines to be highlighted, etc.)
• bookings and preparation for accommodation, transport, catering, gifts and equipment
• develop and prepare all support material in a timely manner for visitors, including tasting booklets, flash drive, menus etc.
• management of budgets, invoices, reconciliation and reporting
You will act as the contact person and in some cases the host and chaperone for VIP visitors (looking after all special requests etc.) and ensure a seamless and premium experience throughout their stay.

Media Kits and New Release Wine Samples
You will be the support the Estate Director in coordinating the distribution and tracking of wine samples and new releases Media kits.

Profile:
• Education: Bachelors Degree of Diploma in Event Management or Hospitality
• Experiences: at least 2 years of experience in Hospitality / Front of House hosting role / events organization in a high-profile environment.
• Strong understanding of Front of House hosting required.
• Languages: Excellent English compulsory, particularly high level of written English required
• Strong passion for wine, food and hospitality a priority

Technical skills:
• Proficient on Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point),
• Good understanding of design programs such as InDesign. Basic understanding of programs such as Photo Shop or Publisher.
• Strong social media skills are essential
