Business France

 

Business France is the French agency responsible for supporting the international development of the French economy. It is responsible for fostering export growth by French businesses as well as promoting and facilitating international investment in France.

 

It promotes the economic attractiveness of France and improves its image and that of its companies and regions. It also runs and develops the French International Internship Programme in companies - V.I.E.

 

Created on 1 January 2015, Business France came about following a merger between UBIFRANCE and AFII (the French agency for international investments). Business France has 1,500 employees in France and 70 other countries. It works with a network of public and private partners.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI)

 

The Ministry recruits and manages International Interns assigned to Embassies and associated departments.

 

It performs the same management function as Business France does for V.I.E. interns; the only difference being that applicants may only apply for offers posted by MAEDI on the CIVI website.

 

French embassies overseas are not authorised to directly recruit International Interns.

 

 

The Direction Générale du Trésor - DG Trésor (French General Directorate of the Treasury)

 

Under the authority of the Ministry of the Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs - the Ministry of External Trade recruits and manages International Interns assigned to economic departments in Embassies.
